Small, newly born, hairless and blind, they stand motionless towards each other, breathing rapidly and touching their snouts. This faithful and realistic presentation of newborn baby rats are actually kinetic sculpture that tries to ask the question about ourselves, where we are now, where we are going, and where we will get there. This replica of living, biological organisms that invites contact with our primary life functions and values is in direct contrast to the surface on which they are located, which is milky white, clean, shiny and sterile and reminds us of the world we have created and the future we are moving towards. Also that cold background gives the impression of a laboratory and testing where if we look at it from our human perspective, tests and algorithms are performed on people every day under the guise of improving social networks and our general betterment, we also become those same guinea pigs without the ability to control our own future and our destiny.
